{"id":2099,"date":"2021-09-14T15:23:28","date_gmt":"2021-09-14T15:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/seeda2021.uowm.gr\/?page_id=2099"},"modified":"2021-09-15T11:20:58","modified_gmt":"2021-09-15T11:20:58","slug":"instructions-for-authors","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/seeda2021.uowm.gr\/instructions-for-authors\/","title":{"rendered":"Instructions for authors"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Video Recording Instructions for SEEDA-CECNSM 2021 Talks<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p align=\"justify\">SEEDA-CECNSM 2021 will be a hybrid conference, thus it will support both virtual and physical presence. Zoom platform will be used to run the conference (24th \u2013 26th September). All Zoom links are included in the conference program. All physical attending authors will make their presentation live, while <strong>all virtual attending authors will record their presentations before and and submit them to the organizing committee.<\/strong> Virtual attending authors MUST be available (in Zoom) during the session that the video of their work will be presented, in order to receive questions from the physical and virtual audience. All presentations will be 12 min long, in order to have time for questions and discussion.<\/p>\n<p>All virtual attending paper authors MUST prepare video recordings of their talks by <strong>21 September, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The talks should be <strong>at most 12 minutes<\/strong> long.<\/li>\n<li>Record your talk using Zoom, OBS Studio, or any other program, but MAKE SURE that the recording will be in mp4 video format.<\/li>\n<li>Name the video file as \u201cseeda2021-paperXXX-video.mp4\u201d, where XXX is the submission number for your paper.<\/li>\n<li>The file size should be at maximum 200 MB.<\/li>\n<li>Send the presentation via email to seeda2021@uowm.gr with subject \u201cseeda2021-paperXXX-video\u201d. If the file is too large, use a dropbox, google drive, or any other platform, and <strong>attach the link (not share the folder).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Also attach the presentation (ppt, pptx, pdf) in order to be available, in case of reference during the audience questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\">Zoom can be used to record a talk by starting a meeting (with the presenter as the only participant), sharing the screen to show slides and the speaker, and use the record feature.
