<\/p>\n
SMART4ALL<\/a> is funded by the EU program Horizon 2020 (Grant Agreement No. 872614) and aims to bring together a Digital Innovation Hub across Europe.\u00a0 It comprises a consortium of 25 partners from 16 countries but aims to reach out many more.<\/p>\n SMART4ALL Digital Innovation Hub builds capacity amongst European stakeholders via the development of selfsustained, cross-border experiments that transfer knowledge and technology between academia and industry. It targets customized low energy computing cyber-physical systems and the IoT and combines a set of unique characteristics that join together under a common vision different cultures, different policies, different geographical areas and different application domains, to accelerate digital transformation and increase digital skills in Europe.<\/p>\n During the SMART4ALL Special Session, funded projects from the 1st<\/sup> round of Open Calls<\/a> on Focused and Cross-border Technology Transfer Experiments \u00a0will be presented and discussed in terms of their innovation on the domains of Digitized Agriculture, Digitized Environment, Digitized Transport and Digitized Anything, aiming at a fertile interaction for the sustainability of digital transformation innovative projects.<\/p>\n Mr. Nikolaos Lambrogeorgos<\/a>, Senior Account Manager of the Public Sector, Greece & Cyprus, at Cisco Hellas S.A<\/a>. will address a keynote speech under the topic \u201cAdvancing Innovation through digital transformation acceleration and promotion of digital skills\u201d.<\/p>\n At the end of the main session, a pitching event among these projects\u2019 representatives and renown evaluators from the industrial, commercial and funding field will follow in an online event supported by CISCO webex. \n<\/em>Assistant Prof. Christos P. Antonopoulos received his Diploma and PhD at Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology from ECE Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology, University of Patras Greece in 2002 and 2008 respectively. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the ECE Department<\/a> of University of the Peloponnese, Greece. From 2003, he has been involved in more than 14 European projects (FP5,6,7 and Horizon 2020) and more than 6 Greek National research projects. He has published high number (>100) of research papers and 13 book chapters in international journals and conferences which have received over 750 citations while he has served as editor to two Springer books. His main research interests include: Wireless Networks, Network Communication Protocols, Network Simulation, Performance Evaluation, Embedded Software, Sensor Networks, Wireless Broadband Access Networks, Embedded System Architecture and Programming, Cross-Layer protocols, Wireless Networks power optimization.<\/p>\n
\n<\/em>Dr. Costas Troulos holds a computer engineer degree and a PhD from the National Technical University of Athens. He obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Louisville University and he is a PMP certified project manager. He is an experienced business coach with a special interest in technology companies and research teams that aim at the commercial exploitation of their inventions and technical advantage. He is also the IPR Helpdesk ambassador for Greece. He was also a business innovation coach for the European Commission\u2019s financing tool \u201cSME Instrument\u201d. In the VIP4SME project he is responsible for the smooth implementation of IP-related pilot actions to more than 4,000 SMEs in 30 countries. In the SHIPMENTT project, he coordinates efforts of 20 partners for developing strategy recommendations for the improvement of innovation ecosystems with respect to IP and access to finance.<\/p>\n
\nKaterina Lamprakopoulou is a Communication Specialist and she holds a PhD in Communication and Mass Media from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.She currently works as a Communication Manager responsible for the promotion, outreach, advertising, ecosystem building and community engagement of Patras Science Park.She is involved in dissemination & stimulation actions of the SMART4ALL project that builds capacity amongst European stakeholders via the development of self-sustained, cross-border experiments that transfer knowledge and technology between academia and industry. Katerina serves the Smart Cities Innovation Hub<\/a> which is a joint initiative of research labs and innovative companies active in the development, production and exploitation of products from the smart cities sector.<\/p>\n
\nS\u00f3nia has a Degree in Management, Specialization in the Financial Area. Developing Strategic Leadership at Henley Management College (UK). S\u00f3nia was CFO of very diverse companies, such as the Metro Portugal (company that publishes a free daily newspaper, joint venture with a Swedish media group, \u201cMetro International\u201d and Portuguese media group, \u201cMedia Capital\u201d) and Fasttrack Ventures, a company that invests in early-stage technology companies and SSM, which is the first Portuguese company to be listed on AIM London Stock Exchange. She was also the Planning and Control Management Director at Ongoing Group (holding company that runs in several areas, as Telecom, Media, Technologies, Consultancy and Financial Services), and Senior Auditor at EY. S\u00f3nia has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector, and has participated in several European projects (such as\u00a0Startup Lighthouse<\/a>,\u00a0Diatomic<\/a>,\u00a0Smart4all<\/a>,\u00a0MediaMotorEurope<\/a>,\u00a0DigiCirc<\/a><\/p>\n
